New Zealand Dance Examination Organisation

NZAMD is proud to be a New Zealand based organisation. We welcome new members and teachers.

We are a committed organisation providing a teaching and examination syllabus that is proven in it’s success for training New Zealand students and encouraging a love and passion for dance.

We know that for Teachers, their studio is their business and their livelihood, and we are committed to providing the teaching packages which will assist them in growing and strengthening their business.

NZAMD has a positive programme of reviewing, updating and renewing our syllabi to keep abreast of international dance trends and the best in teaching practise.

  • Our syllabi is versatile, applicable to both the recreational and the elite dancer
  • NZAMD provides access to a complete range of disciplines within the one organisation with only one membership subscription
  • The choreography and variety of examinations, assessments, performance awards and teaching programme should provide inspiration to every student who wishes to dance

We are also passionate about giving back to our dance community and during our annual NZAMD Scholarship provide monetary prizes totalling thousands of dollars.
