We offer Student (13 to 20 years) or Teaching membership options. Note that Student members can only assist Teaching members, and may not enter examination candidates under their own name.

Our Members

NZAMD realizes that for teachers, their studio is their business and livelihood, and are therefore committed to providing material that will assist them in growing and strengthening their businesses.

Examination Syllabi

The examination syllabi is available in user friendly written notes and teaching DVDs, and we continue to work towards all notes, DVDs and music being available via our website.

Examination Sessions

These sessions are held throughout the country from May to December. In most areas we are able to offer teachers a choice between an early or later session. There are four sessions in Auckland and Wellington, and three sessions in Christchurch.

Area Organisers

Area organisers provide a local contact for personal backup and assistance with the scheduling of examinations sessions and timetabling of the examination day.

Workshops

Held to assist with the further development of teaching skills, and to introduce new programmes. Future planning is aimed towards the introduction of webinars to assist all our teachers.

Teaching Programme

A Teaching programme is available to inspire and upskill both the beginner and the experienced teacher.

Newsletters

Newsletters are published quarterly providing teachers with updates, teaching tips, information and reminders. Plus our Monthly Memos are emailed to all Teaching Members during the first week of the month February to November, giving added and more timely reminders such as upcoming examination closing dates.
